Man Seriously Stabbed
On Friday September 5th at approximately 03.55 p.m. several police patrols were directed to the main office of G.E.B.E. on the Walter Nisbeth road where it was reported that a stabbing had taken place and that the victim was seriously wounded and bleeding profusely. On the scene the investigating officers encountered a man with the initials R.D.C. (38) lying on the ground and who was indeed bleeding from several stab-wounds to his back and lower right leg. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics and then transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment. The victim was stabilized but could not give a statement due to his condition. The Forensic Department was on the scene to collect evidence and the Detectives were speaking to witnesses. The suspect in the case still remains unknown and has not yet been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
